Re: Debate: Temporal, Cultural and Societal Non-Interference Bill

A long time ago, two groups of energy beings fought one another, or at least that is our myth. Once upon a time, the gods fought the demons. The gods allied with the people of Betazed, in the process creating the houses. Each house followed a different god or group of gods. Each had a virtue they fo...

Note on Expanding Federation Membership

From: Councilor Idris Taldon, Delta IV To: President Pro Tempre Vedek Tabor Laren Subject: Expediting Membership in the Federation Sir This is just the sort of partisan move I recommended that you do not make. Your assurances that you would not engage in partisan politics as Pro Tempre was a large f...

Note on Defense

From: Councilor Idris Taldon of Delta IV To: Councilor Eryv ch’Azaarhir of Andoria Subject: Federation Defense Policy Sir The government of Delta IV has traditionally promoted a strong defense as part of our desire just to be left alone. Our tendency towards emitting pheromones is quite motivating t...

Starfleet Military Burden

Councilor Idris Taldon of Delta IV This question is one which is intended to address the military burden currently placed on Starfleet, and is related to the presidential campaign. Delta IV

Councilor Idris Taldon, Paris, France, Earth It’s about time, but haven’t you got it backwards? Aren’t you supposed to be telling me how to vote? I figure I’d keep going mostly with how daddy voted, with only minor tweaks, but you ought to be telling me. Anyway, any planet located half way between t...

Re: [Debate] President Pro Tempore

Councilor Idris Teldon, Delta IV Vedek Tabor Congratulations on your nomination for President pro Tempore. My immediate concern is that with the election underway, the Tempore position should likely not be used to push a political agenda. There is a need to meet an emergency. I suppose too the burea...

Tea

In a perverse way, it reminded Idris of home. On the surface, the two places couldn’t be more different. Tavala monastery was surrounded by sheer cliffs and tall trees. Delta featured the ocean and scattered islands. And yet, there was a majesty in both places, nature, an apparent peace, at least if...

Re: Forum Features & Privileges Thread

I note that the Constructionist party member's names on the forums tend to be displayed as dark blue on black. This is not enough contrast for me to actually read the name. The Federalist red is quite ok. Could you change the Constructionist party to a brighter color?

Re: Forum Features & Privileges Thread

There are a few typos and wording changes in the Idris Taldon description I would like to correct. Nothing too major and it could stand as is, but I'd like to edit it for a while. I come from a chat room based sim tradition, where your ability to type fast sometimes gives you an advantage. Thus I'm ...
